Welcome to our Ranch

Nestled near the charming town of Odemira in Southwest Portugal, our ranch spans approximately 50 hectares of diverse landscapes. Located in the Alentejo region, renowned for its unspoiled nature and breathtaking beaches along the wild Atlantic coast, the ranch offers an authentic connection to Portugal’s natural beauty.

Our ranch features lush pastures in the valley and dense forests on the hillside, creating a picturesque setting. The river Mira meanders through the pastures, eventually reaching the Atlantic Ocean just a few kilometers away. Influenced by the tide, the river rises and falls up to a meter or two twice daily. This natural rhythm adds a touch of adventure to our trail rides, where crossing the river can sometimes mean riding our horses through waters deep enough to almost swim.

Riding through our secluded forest trails, you’ll experience the shade of cork oaks, eucalyptus, pine, and medronho trees—also known as the strawberry tree, whose fruit is distilled into a strong local brandy. We often encounter partridges and Egyptian mongoose on our rides, and of course also cows, sheep, goats, and pigs.
